I’m confident I’m not the only one who walks with mental illness. Many others carry the torch. When you’ve been through some stuff in life, it’ll have you feeling an overwhelming burden. It’s easy to come away broken. Surely, no one asks to be put in that space, but when it happens, one can fall prey to many illnesses (and these are just a few):
• Anxiety Disorders. …
• Depression. …
• Bipolar Disorder. …
• Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) …
• Schizophrenia. …
• Eating Disorders. …
• Disruptive behavior and dissocial disorders. …
• Neurodevelopmental disorders.
There is no joy in confessing one’s brokenness. But it brings a sigh of relief knowing many are walking with the illness and disclaiming they’re untouched. People confess and find a way to live with the illness in a healthy form.
Look around and realize you are not alone. We are living in a world where insanity appears to be normal. We are living in a broken society. There are stories to be told and ways we can learn to manage our brokenness.
Come and discover how to maneuver inside the brokenness. Discover that it is “Okay Not to Be Okay!” Join us for this awakening moment! Standup and be counted . . .
