Definition: We can define a business as an activity with the goal of earning income.
This new norm has shot one’s business straight in the foot and out the back door. Seemingly, businesses are struggling and suffering to stay afloat (including mine). By tracking my income and year-end expenses, I’m able to see the trend set in the selling of my creations. Seeing my revenue (or lack thereof) I have no shame in seeking your support to help sell more. Hear my plea before turning a deaf ear . . .
As we prepare to go into another year (2021), this entire period (ending of 2019 through 2020) has been a devastating one for all. With the spread of an outbreak (i.e., epidemic) and a rise in its death rate (taking the lives of those we loved, dearly), it becomes the most memorable and unforgettable mark in history. This global disaster is not over yet. Every day it’s a challenge dealing with millions of people falling prey to sickness, while hundreds and thousands of lives are taken. Many of those lives have been short-lived from the beginning (especially our babies). And these incidents occurred globally. That’s for sure!
If you’ve not experienced the Spanish Flu era (in 1918), we’ve had a taste of how a widespread, infectious disease can destroy lives-after-lives, with totally ripping a nation of its financial ruins. . . through an economy lockdown/shutdown. The national/global closure of businesses regardless of their size (small to corporate) has crippled nations-after-nations. Wouldn’t you agree? It’s pretty clear this pandemic has changed the way we operate our businesses. Having to readjust and stay afloat to make ends meet, becomes a challenge in itself. What has changed is that we’re not able to transact business in a routine manner (one-on-one personal contact)? With this new operational structure, it has to be done remotely, via video, or online. In the wake of millions of job losses (due to pandemic), customers are gearing their buying power to online purchases.
For all those gift-givers, my written creations are great for any occasion (available in a variety of formats) and have taken home numerous winning rewards from the varied book award platforms. This is not just spoken words, the ‘proof is in the pudding’ (i.e., test it yourself). A congratulatory shoutout is in order! This week the activity guide, “Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall . . . Where Does My Self Love Fall?”, has won another award. How is that for a prize-winning product?
