Has this whole world been broken? Or are the people trying to survive merely hostages of a crippled society? Regardless, how one sees it, life is full of challenges. Those challenges are testimonies of our strengths and weaknesses. It is the making of our Creator’s doing. HE only gives us what we can bear.
I was horrified when I discovered my mind was detached from my body. I’d fallen down many times before COVID19 found its way into this environment. I didn’t think I’d ever get back up. ‘Till I realized we’re all pieces of a Humpty Dumpty. After falling down, we pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and try it again.
The beauty in its challenge has been never to give up. The defeat comes once the pain, the hurt, the heartbreaks, traumatic experiences, and disappointments have left us staged and shattered. Among the fragmented pieces lies a detached eggshell head, alongside those dislocated arms and legs.
Underneath the broken pieces. Is a message . . . tough times are opportunities to appreciate the little things in life.
