Here’s a sneak preview of the script from one of those scenes:
Main characters in the trailer:
-
- Nina portrayed by Alecia Craine
- Marcus portrayed by Rodney Vincent Washington
- Craig portrayed by Rodney Glover
SCENE ONE: ”THE RED DRESS”
LOCATION – NINA’S HOME
SETTING: EARLY 1970s
Nina is in the mirror, admiring her new dress. Marcus walks in the room.
NINA: What do you think hon, does it show my curves?
(Marcus finally notices Nina’s dress and does a double-take . . . looks at her with a wrinkled face filled with jealousy)
MARCUS: Don’t think you’re going out wearing that slutty outfit!
NINA: Slutty!!! You are kidding, right?
(She continues to admire herself)
Suddenly, Marcus grabs the supporting straps from her shoulder. He viciously tries to pull her dress down and off her body. They struggle to the floor. While on the floor, Nina is left with nothing on but her bra and panties. Marcus stands triumphantly over her, looking down at the dress.
MARCUS: What do I think of this dress? (He tosses it into the trash can!)
(Nina stares at him with anger in her eyes.)
MARCUS (jokingly): Oh. you want some of this!
(Marcus shrugs the thought and walks away. Nina starts breathing rapidly as she looks for a weapon to kill Marcus. She sees a butcher knife under the table. In one swift move, she grabs the knife and shoves Marcus against the wall. Marcus is caught off guard. Nina has the knife on his throat.)
MARCUS (struggles to speak): You’ve gone, crazy woman?
NINA (excitedly shouts): Y O U took me there!
(Nina presses the knife harder on his throat, a trickle of blood appears. Marcus’ eyes widen with fear. Suddenly, the baby cries out. Nina, with her eyes only, looks in the direction of her baby then back at Marcus.)
NINA (breathing slower): You’d best be glad, today, I’m not my dad’s child. And that child in there … Be thankful, she saved your life. Now, get the devil out of my house!
Stay tuned for more action and drama. A real-life story some may say, “Did this really happen?”
My past does not define my future. Does yours? This storybook is available in paperback and audible.
Hi there Valorie:
Pleased to know you took the time to read my post VDO Trailer Release and glad you felt everything was reasonable. I do appreciate your feedback about the title line (i.e., headline). I did insert the pictured flyer for a snappy grabber (so I thought anyway). Well, I will take your feedback under advisement.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hi there every one, here every person is sharing such familiarity,
therefore it’s nice to read this website, and I used to pay a quick visit this website everyday.
Greetings Robbie:
Nice to know you liked the postings. And pleased you managed to find me here! It’s great to learn; especially, when encountering new challenges. My journey taught me a lot about challenges – so much that I find myself writing from experience. So, whatever comes up – comes out. I’ve been told by my publisher, I tend to think out the box a bit. Perhaps, her comment has some validity to it (smile). Looking forward to your many return.
I like the valuable info you provide on your articles. I will bookmark
your blog and take a look at once more here frequently. I am quite sure I will be told plenty of new stuff right here!
Good luck for the following!

Hi there:
Glad you found me! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Unfortunately, I don’t have a donation button. But, would love for you to support this site by purchasing and reviewing my literary creation(s). Be nice to let the folks in your circle know about me. This pandemic has hit the book industry and prevent authors from having face-to-face events.
So, have you checked out my memoir or activity guide, “Not a Blueprint It’s the Shoe Prints that Matter?” or “Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall. . . .” They both have won several awards. That says a lot as a great creation! Call it stimulus support (smile). Better yet, consider it a unique way of supporting.
I can’t go it alone, but with your help, we can make it happen. Feel free to share the site in your circle. Remember, books make great specialty gifts y You may need to cut and paste the links in a search engine.
