The first time I saw you I knew, you and I would be together side-by-side. I feel you although you are far away. It was my promise to be your mom and a protector. I’ve not given up on you. We had much to share. Some day we’ll be together. We’ve talked about the fact moms aren’t supposed to bury their children. Are you telling me, “The new norm is you (the child) will make a home for the parent?” Oh my, what a laugh! I am shouting that our love is Forever! Forever is our love!
Seconds, minutes, hours, days, and years have passed us by. And you, have waited for me. Ha, ha! How is that for the new norm? I’ve shed the tears, I’ve reached back for the memories. The love we’ve embraced as one. I won’t forget you. No, I won’t forget. “You and I are forever.”
I’ve held on to our love ‘cause nothing is as precious. It’s You and I Against the World. Yes, you’ve promised someday we’d be together. So, I will be waiting for you. Forever your love is our destiny. Nothing can change what the Creator has planned . . . nothing can change what’s meant to be.
When you left, I had no idea it was to go and make a place for me. So, is the new norm parents aren’t supposed to bury their children; ’cause they will make a home for them? How ironic is that? Parents, have you heard? There’s a place which awaits us in the Hereafter? No matter what, I’ll be waiting to see them in the Hereafter. The place where we’ve all originated, It’s our “Forever Love!”
