Memories from the past . . .
The time we spent together helped me realize how precious children are, how quickly they blossom before our eyes. Even though I hadn’t lived a totally Christian lifestyle, I never forgot how to pray.
Every day, I’d send a prayer out to our Creator above. It went something like this: “I’m a single mom trying to make it on my own, and thank you Lord for sending me, my baby. She’s the sunshine of my life. I love her with all my heart and soul. I worship Your being and praise Your holy name. It is through Your glory all things are possible.” Perhaps, it was that prayer that got us through each day.

The Amazing Power of Prayer!
Are you allowing those toxic relationships to keep you a prisoner inside your own space? During the time I engaged in #toxicity, I found the space to give thanks to our Creator – for being with us through each horrid day. Don’t just wait for that special holiday to arrive (i.e., Thanksgiving Day). It’s never too late to be grateful and give thanks. Do you think HE doesn’t see or hear you from the walls of your pain and cries? You’re mistakenly wrong. HE positions HIS eyes and ears everywhere. It’s why HE hears and sees all we do. No, I’ve never really seen HIM, myself! I’ve only seen an image of what I thought may have been HIS visit to me. Yet, has anyone of us even seen HIS true image? Still, HE hears and sees everything we’ve done or will do!
No, I couldn’t find an actual image of our Creator. But, it’s my believe HE lives within us all – HIS greatness doesn’t go unseen or unquestionable! In spite of the damages, we do to ourselves and others, living without HIM makes life meaningless.
Food for thought: Don’t ever forget where you’ve come from – it will always be a piece of who you’ve become.
