As a writer/author, I have tons of things pending. When you’re an author/writer your work is never done. There’s always a mass and mess of items that goes unfinished . . . .
- put out marketing materials
- promote, social media tasks
- come up with the next book idea
- research for the next book project
- blogging, reading, and reviewing
- creating book events and signings
- research book reviewers and book award firms
- gather material to update the website
- keep tabs on deadlines
- respond to comments
- jot down marketing ideas
- read other authors’ books to promote their work
- research while on the go
- wait until brain-lock unfreezes
- keep up with book inventory
- replenish inventory
- do cash flow inventory spreadsheet
- do expense report for Tax Accountant
- wake up in the middle of the night to jot down an idea
- learn the new social media platforms
- learn something new, period
- and so on, and so on, and so on,
Now, I ask you, “Who out there reading this wants work off my desk?” Wait, wait, don’t everyone shout at once!
