Here’s a question for you: When you get a broken heart (regardless of where the brokenness came from), do you think it ever fully heal?
Here’s my response to you: Yes, I’ve been there. I felt the pain. From my past brokenness, I can say we can all feel as if we’re that broken Humpty Dumpy on the wall. Perhaps, that’s because we’re living inside a broken and crippled society. But, . . .
“The brokenness will be a part of your journey. The pain, the hurt, the brokenness – may be with you (us) every day./every breath. The wounds slowly close up but the scars shall remain; to leave a lasting mark. The mark that’s called “brokenness.”
As years go by, your (our) wounds will mend; seemingly, the fit-in won’t appear the same. Even though you (we) will feel as though there is a “missing piece” (of us), you’ll (we’ll) learn to let it go (i.e., the pain, hurt, and brokenness) – to move forward. There are no blueprints, no guidelines, no roadmaps, or survival kits, on how to overcome the world of ‘Heartbreaks.’
Just know that you (we) become champions after learning ways to camouflage it, hide it, or even to bury it; nonetheless, you’ll (we’ll) be the one to know those wounds remain. And thorough it all, you (we) are a survivor. Never give up, life has brought on a new lesson!”
