The Brokenness of Society

We are living in turbulent times . . .  our society is broken and crippled.  So, today’s short post is about its effects and interactions of unhealthy relationships.

Where are we in today’s brokenness?  Seemingly, the nation has a “shelter in place” order. Its safety measure is to protect us from contracting the Coronavirus19 – a deadly disease. While in confinement, be aware of the danger while encountering a toxic relationship. When examining the brokenness of these deadly relationships, they can appear in a variety of shapes, e.g., addictions, abusers, bullies, diseases, emotions, feelings, illnesses, sex-offenders, work environments, and the list goes on.

An unhealthy relationship can create a deadly interaction – in any form of destruction. Remember, every danger sign bears a “red flag.” Warning alert: Take heed, the next life you save may be your own. This journey could be yours or someone you know. Feeling free to share in your circle – sharing is caring. ‘Tis storybook is a memoir and the winner of five book awards.

In addition to reading its book, suggest you (also) check out its VDO trailer.

Good day! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog.
Is it difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast.

I’m thinking about setting up my own but I’m not sure where to start.

Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Cheers

      Greetings Evelyn:

Thanks for loving the blog. Perhaps, you may want to Google that question. These days, Google seems to have all the answers (smile). I’m not computer savvy about creations of website and how to set-up weblogs. I hired a webmaster to create/design this site. And with the set-up, he included the page for blogging. Thanks for stopping by and good luck in your quest! Come again, please.

      Hi Sara:

Well, thanks for the kind words. Glad you liked the post and enjoyed the reading. BTW, my book titled, Not a Blueprint, won a Finalist Book Excellence Award. It’s the 5th one; I just thought I’d share that with you. Also, it’s available in an audible format e-book. No reading required, just a leaning ear. Hopefully, you’ll check it out my e-book, as your next read and give your feedback at Amazon. Looking forward to your return!

      Hello Marilyn:

Glad you managed to find me here! It’s great to learn; especially, when encountering new challenges. My journey taught me a lot about challenges – so much that I find myself writing from experience. So, whatever comes up – comes out. I’ve been told by my publisher, I tend to think out the box a bit. Perhaps, her comment has some validity to it (smile). Looking forward to your many return.

I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the page layout of
your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.

Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 images.
Maybe you could space it out better?

Thanks for your comments. Glad to know you embraced it all (website and postings). Well, I’ll tell ya . . .
Once you’ve been on a journey and made it back, it can be relatively easy to spread the news about life lessons. I feel there’s no better educator than life itself. Guess, you can say that I speak from experience. In spite of my hectic schedule, I do tend to limit my postings and use videos or images along with the message. Just a preference of mine.
There are postings where I have a broken into sections for blogging; especially, when it’s a long-winded topic. I must confess: I write when it hits me. Perhaps, that’s why there’s NOT an abundance of daily postings. Oh yeah, there was a time frame I was in a horrible space for over three decades. All my thoughts during that period proved to be nothing but negative and dark. However, I will take your suggestion into consideration.

BTW, if you get an opportunity, check out my storybook, (e-book or audiobook), “Not a Blueprint It’s the Shoe Prints that Matter,” – it’s so full of life lessons. After reading, kindly leave a comment at Amazon. If you’re interested in a “free copy,” I can provide you with a code download, let me know. Also, it has won its fifth award, Book Excellence Award.
